Does the system pick up custom games and assume they are as normal?

Cause this looks like a custom game to me: http://wwiilogs.com/WTstats/Mission.asp?MissionID=4020

also what about replays would they get picked up?(I dont know if the map app plays back with the replay?)

Thanks!

I corrected that one.    I haven't figured out a way to catch custom battles and just have been removing them when they're found.   I switched that one over to "Unknown" and all the stats are now removed out of the reports.

You don't know how awesome it would be if that http feed would just state the game type...   Man, would that be ideal.

Replays..  I've never tested one.

They would need to finish with a results screen so I don't think they would upload.

I can run one tonight to find out...

3 more of them:

http://wwiilogs.com/WTstats/Mission.asp?MissionID=4023

http://wwiilogs.com/WTstats/Mission.asp?MissionID=4019

http://wwiilogs.com/WTstats/Mission.asp?MissionID=4018

I passed a message onto Thunder via AOT to be careful not to play other modes with the app on.

I also screwed up that I left it on when I did a round in the teutonic giants tournament.

One option is to possibly make it possible that players who are active on here and providing the data could amend it via a simple drop down on each page they were involved in only

with the options

1. Void (custom game)

2. Unique (special event)

3.  SB

that way it can not include the stats for that game, but the info remains.

Either that or you can catch custom games if a player comes back in the same vehicle more then twice (of course t34s and a few other vehicles will have to be excluded.) But if someone dies 4 times in a panzer 3 L then it has to be a custom game?

I think we can tackle it both ways.   Eliminate as much with logic and add the drop down if the OSS user has reported it and admin functionality.     Even add a note and maybe upload capability for replays.    If it is OK, I'll set you up as an Admin with this.

There are a few things we can do logically to catch them and probably better safe then sorry on it.    http://127.0.0.1:8111/map_obj.json   is the link where some of the event adds information that can be used as a determining factor.       I couldn't find anything on custom games though.

Replays do upload though.   I can run a duplicate check to stop that one and with 1.0.06 I'm going to add a lot more to the client to make it easier with all that.

Thanks for all your help DeKrieg!

You've been a huge help in all this.

[edit- I updated them to VOID.]

The current events ongoing are going to affect the stats quite a bit if people keep the app on.

Its why I havnt been on in a while because I'm doing almost exclusively the chronicle events and I dont want the stats to be misled by them.

I can see other players have not done so

This was last nights event:

http://wwiilogs.com/WTstats/Mission.asp?MissionID=4704
http://wwiilogs.com/WTstats/Mission.asp?MissionID=4698
http://wwiilogs.com/WTstats/Mission.asp?MissionID=4697

as was this

http://wwiilogs.com/WTstats/Mission.asp?MissionID=4699

not to mention all the britain events in the RB air list are from the event 2 days ago.

Just a heads up because while you may want to record the events there is a risk they'll start creating inaccurate stats for some planes or tanks as they will perform much better or worse in an event over standard matchmaking.

I wonder if Gaijin even separates those stats out..     When I run event the results do tally into my stats within War Thunder.    Is it worth constantly removing them or adjusting them or should I leave them as is.

Maybe classify them as "Event" or something?

if you put a tag "event" on them that should be sortable on demand.
Then we can also run explicit analysis on the events aswell

Yeah,  that sounds like a plan.

I'll need to add functionality into the website to change it and probably add some notes as well since I'll already be in there.     I'll base it on the OSS user that witnessed the Mission and enable an edit on Mission details for them.

I'd like to capture it with the App; however, can't figure out a good solid way to do that.    There isn't any specific information that distinguishes that mode.    The only way I can figure to do it would be to look at specific map, vehicle combinations, and game type identified; which, would be a nightmare to maintain.

Editing the site data seems like the way to go...
